What to Expect at The New Strawberry Tree

We've moved!!! After 38 years, we  "left home" and moved three whole blocks up State Street.  What an opportunity!
 
Welcome to the Abram Gates' home!! Abram, a hardware entrepreneur in Curwensville, built this 1890s Italianate
Victorian home.  The parquet floors and marblized fireplaces are just several details that give one the feeling of what this townhouse was like when it was first constructed.  And...we're happy to say over 100 years later Gates Hardware is still in business!
 
The Tea Room!  After hearing your requests for many years for a place to sit, chat and munch, we've been able to add a delightful room where the motto is "Dessert First"!  Local bakers are highlighted as we add this new venture to The Strawberry Tree.
