Welcome!  We are pleased you are having or considering having a party  in our Tea Room!

Here are some guidelines for you as you plan your very special event.  Rhonda, our Tea Room, Manager, is always happy to help you.    Call her at 814-236-8328.

• The Tea Room can accommodate up to 20 people.  Parties of 15 or more will have the tea room exclusively for 2 hours.
• The hostess must call at least 48 hours prior to the desired party date to reserve the room.  The room will book according to availability.
• The number of reservations must be confirmed 48 hours prior by the hostess.  (For example:  A final count for a  Saturday party must be made by Thursday.) The hostess will be billed $10 per no show.
  

Menus for Parties of 15 or more (Effective 6/1/12):
*Tea Room Fun:  A sampler and drink served to each attendee.  Choose from our So Sweet Sweet Sampler and the current Seasonal Sampler.   $10.95/person
*Tea Room Buffet:  A cup of soup and drink will be served to each person.  A self-serve buffet of tea sandwiches and sampler treats will be offered.  $10.95/person
***Menu must be chosen 3 days or earlier prior to the party by the hostess.
*No outside food or drink can be brought in other than a celebration cake.  Special dietary needs are an exception—e.g., gluten-free.                                                                                                                                           *A 20% gratuity will be added to a party of 6 or more.

*Parties of less than 15 requesting exclusive use of the tea room will pay a $50 room charge.

Children’s Birthday Parties
**For children 7 years and older.
**Capacity:  20 total (includes children and any adults
**Same rules apply as above.
**Birthday child will receive a complimentary book from The Strawberry Tree.
**The tea room staff will present the tea and a short program on party etiquette.
